48 hours in Frankfurt am Main—how do I plan a smooth, public-transport-friendly visit?

I’m dropping into Frankfurt am Main for a short stay and want to keep things simple: walkable areas, easy U-Bahn/S-Bahn routes, and a compact list of sights that won’t have me zig-zagging the city. I’m also curious about Sunday openings, late museum hours, and neighborhoods that feel good for solo evening strolls. Bonus if there’s a clear overview of districts (Alt-Sachsenhausen, Innenstadt, Westend, etc.) and quick links to transit, weather, and emergency numbers. Looking for something I can skim on my phone while I’m on the S-Bahn from the airport.
